Entering the match with a 2-0 head-to-head lead, Lee So-hee and Baek Ha-na completely overwhelmed world number eight Li Yijing and Luo Xumin of China in both offense and defense.

They displayed strong chemistry on the attack—scoring points through Lee So-hee's smashes followed by Baek Ha-na's net play—while forcing successive opponent errors with tenacious defense.

Although they initially trailed in the early stages of the first game, they quickly turned the tide by scoring nine consecutive points. Securing a successful challenge request at game point, they claimed the first game 21-17.

The second game followed an even more one-sided flow.

After a long rally, Lee So-hee captured a point with a refreshing jump smash, while Baek Ha-na crushed China's hopes of a comeback with surprise diagonal attacks and exquisite drop shots.

Lee So-hee wrapped up the second game 21-12 with a push attack, sealing a 2-0 victory in just 45 minutes.

Stepping onto the World Championships final stage for the first time ever, the two players clenched their fists and cheered in celebration.

Tomorrow (the 23rd), the duo will compete in the finals for what could be the first women's doubles world championship gold medal in 31 years, since Gil Young-ah and Chang Hye-ock in 1995.

Meanwhile, women's singles world number one An Se-young will shortly challenge for a spot in the finals against China's Wang Zhiyi, and men's doubles world number one Seo Seung-jae and Kim Won-ho, eyeing consecutive championships for the second straight year, will also step into the semifinals.
