The third round of the KPGA (Korea Professional Golfers' Association) Tour Donga Membership Group Open, with a total purse of 700 million won, was suspended due to inclement weather, unable to resume, and postponed by a day.

The KPGA suspended play at 2:50 PM today (August 22) during the third round at the Sol Course (par 72) of SolatCC in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, as heavy rain and lightning struck. After twice delaying the restart time, the organization ultimately decided that play could not be resumed.

The Donga Membership Group Open has faced disruptions in its schedule due to bad weather since the second round the previous day.

During the second round, play was suspended due to a lightning warning and did not resume until 4:20 PM. As a result, 72 players were unable to finish their rounds and had to play their remaining holes starting early this morning.

Players who made the cut teed off for the third round starting at 11:50 AM today, but once again hampered by adverse weather conditions, all 72 players across 24 groups failed to complete their rounds.

Consequently, players are scheduled to play the remaining third-round matches starting at 6:50 AM on August 23, followed by the final round at approximately 11:40 AM.

Jung Jae-hoon maintained his lead at 15-under par through three holes of the third round, while Kim Seung-min is trailing closely in second place, one stroke behind.
