A fire broke out at a 2nd-floor restaurant in a five-story commercial building located in Hogye-dong, Dongan-gu, Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, at around 2:00 a.m. today (August 22).

No injuries were reported, but about 40 people inside the building evacuated in a hurry.

Fire authorities, responding to the report, brought the major flames under control within 16 minutes of the outbreak and fully extinguished the fire 40 minutes later.
