A fire broke out at a detached house in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, at around 3:30 AM today (August 22).

Fire authorities deployed 19 pieces of equipment and 51 personnel, extinguishing the fire in about two hours.

During the firefighting operations, an exterior wall collapsed, injuring a firefighter in their 20s who was then transported to the hospital.

There were no civilian casualties.

Fire authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
