Prosecutors investigating allegations that the family of former President Roh Tae-woo concealed slush funds have launched a forced investigation, raiding the residence of Roh's widow, Kim Ok-suk.

The Criminal Proceeds Recovery Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office has been conducting a search and seizure operation since this morning (the 21st) at Kim's private residence in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul.

The East Asia Cultural Center and the Roh Tae-woo Center, headed by Roh's son, Roh Jae-헌 (Roh Jae-heon), who serves as the South Korean Ambassador to China, are also reportedly included in the search and seizure targets.
