Renault Korea announced today (August 21) that it reached a tentative agreement with its main labor union during the 15th plenary session for the 2026 wage and collective bargaining negotiations held yesterday (August 20).

The tentative agreement will be finalized at a general meeting of employees on August 26, following explanatory sessions for union members.

A Renault Korea official stated, "As a ratification vote by union members on the tentative agreement is ahead, it is difficult to publicly disclose the specific details of the tentative agreement. Once the tentative agreement is finally passed at the general meeting on August 26, we will be able to reveal the details."

According to the company, both labor and management shared the consensus to make efforts to overcome the company's difficult management situation after 16 hours of negotiations the previous day.

Renault Korea initiated negotiations on April 27 and has conducted a total of 15 plenary and working-level negotiations over the past four months.
