Actor Kim Min-kyu has signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment.
Kim Min-kyu gained public attention after appearing on the 2019 Mnet audition program "Produce X 101," maintaining a top tier ranking throughout the broadcast, and subsequently chose the path of an actor rather than an idol. He officially began his acting career in 2020 through the Playlist web drama "Pop Out Boy!" and has steadily built up his filmography.
Notably, he took on his first historical drama role as Grand Prince Doseong in the drama "Missing Crown Prince," leaving a deep impression on viewers with his stable acting skills and delicate emotional expression. He then showcased his presence on the screen through the film "Home Sweet Home," genuinely portraying the realities and concerns of youth.
Last year, Kim Min-kyu received an enthusiastic response from viewers for his role as the veiled transfer student Cha Jin-wook in the drama "Bitch x Rich 2." He also garnered favorable reviews for deepening his acting spectrum by transforming into young farmer Ryu Bo-hyun in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Love, Take Two."
BH Entertainment stated, "Kim Min-kyu is an actor with the power to make any role his own, and we believe he has infinite possibilities and potential. We want to discover his various sides and build the future together."
Kim Min-kyu shared his thoughts, saying, "I am excited, deeply reassured, and happy to stand at a new starting point where I can grow one step further as an actor. Moving forward, I will pour my sincerity into every single project, constantly pondering and working hard. I want to grow into a solid and deep actor whom people can trust and cheer for for a long time. I will do my best to greet everyone soon with good projects and a good image, so I hope you will watch over my future journey with a warm heart."
