Prosecutors Raid Home of Former President Roh Tae-woo's Wife Over Alleged Slush Fund

The prosecution, investigating allegations of concealed slush funds by the family of former President Roh Tae-woo, has launched a forced investigation involving the residence of the former president's wife, Kim Ok-sook.

The Criminal Proceeds Recovery Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office has been conducting raids on Kim's private residence in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, and other locations starting this morning (August 21).

It is reported that the search and seizure targets also include the East Asia Cultural Center and the Roh Tae-woo Center, headed by the former president's son, Roh Jae-heon, who serves as the South Korean Ambassador to China.
