The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that it will operate a pop-up experience center titled "Save Me! Carbon Zero-Influence Cell Village" at Star Square in Hongdae, Mapo-gu, Seoul, from tomorrow (the 22nd) through the 30th of this month to raise awareness about the necessity of carbon neutrality.
Visitors will experience the meaning of practicing eco-friendly daily habits by solving escape-room-style missions alongside characters from the popular webtoon "Yumi's Cells".
The center will operate from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM during this period, and anyone can participate for free by applying on-site without prior reservation.
"Yumi's Cells" character merchandise and various souvenirs will also be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Carbon Zero-Influence" is a new carbon neutrality policy brand created by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Presidential Commission on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth, and the commission and related ministries plan to use this brand moving forward when promoting carbon neutrality policies.
