The 6th installment of the hit horror film series "Insidious," titled "Insidious: The Further," is now meeting audiences.

Released yesterday (the 20th), this new film tells the story of an ordinary mother and daughter who find themselves under attack by evil spirits.

As malevolent entities from "The Further"—the realm of the dead—cross over into reality, the movie delivers a fresh kind of terror.

Produced by Blumhouse, a renowned powerhouse in horror, the film heightened its production value with the joining of the production team behind "The Backrooms," which was released last May and drew attention for its novel thrills.
