At around 10:45 p.m. yesterday (August 20), a collision occurred between a city bus and an SUV on a road in Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.

The accident left the driver of the SUV in a state of cardiac arrest, prompting their transfer to a hospital, while 16 passengers on the city bus sustained minor injuries.

Police are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident, questioning the city bus driver and other involved parties.
