At around 5:20 p.m. today (August 20), a 1-ton truck driven by a man in his 60s, identified as A, crashed into a roadside concrete retaining wall on a road in Seongjeon-myeon, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do.

A was transported to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest, but ultimately passed away.

Police believe that A lost control of the vehicle after striking the median barrier and subsequently collided with the retaining wall, and they are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
