Don't Cross the Wall (Photo=Getty Images Korea)Netflix has confirmed the production of its new K-teen romance series "Don't Cross the Wall" (literal translation) and unveiled its cast lineup of promising young actors.

Set against the backdrop of Jinwol Boys High School and Jinwol Girls High School, which compete fiercely as top prestigious schools with just a single wall separating them, "Don't Cross the Wall" is a teen romantic comedy that depicts the stories of 19-year-olds experiencing their first love. Under the old legend that "those who cross the wall will pay the price" and the strict school rule of "expulsion if caught dating," the series captures the heart-fluttering moments of nearly touching yet staying just out of reach, as well as school memories that everyone has likely experienced at least once, delivering a modern take on nostalgic teen sensibilities to spark both empathy and excitement.

The project is drawing high anticipation as a collaboration between writer Lee Na-eun, who showcased delicate emotional lines in the drama "Our Beloved Summer" and the Netflix series "Melo Movie," and director Lee Soo-hyun, who helmed "Filing for Love," and "My Dearest Nemesis."

The combination of popular rising actors also catches the eye. Moon Sang-min takes on the role of Lee Chi-won, the student council president of Jinwol Boys High School who earns everyone's trust with his flawless demeanor, anchoring the center of the story. Shin Si-a plays Soran, the student council president of Jinwol Girls High School who possesses a passionate and lovely charm. Having grown up together since childhood, the two are set to portray a special youth chemistry that swings between rivals and heart-fluttering romance.

Joining them is Lee Min-jae as Gong Su-ho, Chi-won's love-hate rival who intentionally approaches Soran, while Choi Hee-jin adds unpredictable tension to the story as Kim Ri-ji, a transfer student at Jinwol Girls High School and Soran's roommate.
