In Japan, a high school teacher has been fired after being caught secretly pouring urine into a student's water bottle.

According to the Yomiuri Shimbun on the 20th, the Gunma Prefectural Board of Education announced the previous day that it had issued a disciplinary dismissal for a male teacher in his 20s at a prefectural high school who poured urine into a student's water bottle.

Investigations revealed that the teacher poured urine into the student's water bottle while on duty on May 28.

The teacher's abnormal behavior came to light after the student noticed something was wrong with the water bottle, informed their guardian, and reported the incident to the school and the police.

Appearing before the board of education, the teacher stated, "I did not target a specific student. I did it impulsively."

The student suffered psychological distress and a decline in physical health, experiencing days of being unable to attend school due to the damage inflicted.

Additionally, the Gunma Prefectural Board of Education issued a dismissal for another male temporary teacher in his 20s at a prefectural high school who secretly filmed a female high school student at Yokohama Station in Yokohama.

The same board of education previously dismissed three teachers in March for offenses including the sexual harassment of a female middle school student.
