Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-bak attended the full meeting of the National Assembly's National Defense Committee today (August 20) and repeatedly emphasized regarding allegations of desertion that he has "no shame before the heavens" and that the claims are "completely different from the truth."

Minister Ahn made the remarks in response to questioning by New Reform Party lawmaker Chun Ha-ram, adding, "If there were actually any such desertion involved, I would be lawmaker Han Ki-ho's son."
