When purchasing a new product and having it installed at home, requests for installation technicians to take away old appliances will be organized into 11 categories of large electric and electronic items.

The Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment will announce the legislative notice for amendments to the Enforcement Rules of the Wastes Control Act and the Act on the Resource Circulation of Electrical and Electronic Appliances and Products from tomorrow until October 1.

Electric and electronic appliance retailers and producers with recycling obligations are required to collect free of charge the "same type of product" discarded as waste by consumers purchasing a new product.

The amendment to the Enforcement Rules of the Act on the Resource Circulation of Electrical and Electronic Appliances and Products explicitly specifies 11 types of large electric and electronic items that must be collected free of charge when replacing existing products: "refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, treadmills, electric massagers, televisions, copy machines, dish dryers and washers, electric water purifiers, vending machines, and clothes dryers and care systems."
