Hong Min-ki (Photo=Getty Images Korea)Actor Hong Min-gi's agency has responded strongly to allegations made by his former girlfriend, identified as A, regarding claims that he pressured her to undergo an abortion, dismissing all accusations as completely false in a second official statement.

On August 20, Hong Min-gi's agency, Fable Company, released a second statement saying, "Pregnancy and abortion are extremely sensitive and serious matters. Nevertheless, A publicly posted entirely false claims on social media alleging that the actor urged her to have an abortion after confirming her pregnancy, causing severe and nearly irreparable damage to the actor's reputation and image once again."

Previously, influencer A made additional allegations following the agency's first rebuttal, claiming, "I found out I was pregnant while we were dating, but after Hong Min-gi told me to go get an abortion right away the day after, I underwent the procedure alone."

In response, the agency stated, "A had never shown an ultrasound photo to the actor prior to this. The ultrasound photo sent by A differs from typical pregnancy confirmation photos, so we have requested verification from obstetrics and gynecology medical staff and plan to submit it as evidence."

The agency added, "On July 13, the day A claims she underwent the abortion procedure, A suggested that the actor go cycling with her, and when he refused, she directly sent a video of herself riding a bicycle alone." They noted that they have secured and stored the relevant conversation and video materials.

Additionally, the agency stated that A has never shown a pregnancy test to the actor and declared, "We will no longer respond by repeatedly refuting the other party's false claims. Based on the materials we have secured, we will immediately initiate the necessary civil and legal procedures to ensure that the facts related to this case are clearly brought to light."

Earlier, A raised expectations of legal action by claiming that she had continuously suffered from dating violence, assault, threats, invasion of privacy, and stalking by Hong Min-gi. In response, Hong Min-gi's agency has been mounting a full-scale counter-response by presenting evidence of A's stalking behavior, CCTV footage, and threatening audio recordings.

Below is the full text of the second official statement from Hong Min-gi's agency.

Hello. This is Fable Company.
We would like to share our position regarding the additional posts made by A concerning our agency's actor, Hong Min-gi.

Through additional posts, A claimed that she confirmed her pregnancy while dating the actor and underwent an abortion procedure, stating that she has medical records and ultrasound photos to back this up.

Indeed, around 6:00 a.m. on August 19, 2026, A sent an ultrasound photo to the actor along with a message saying, "Shut your mouth before I blow all this up too." However, A had never shown such an ultrasound photo to the actor before that point. Because the ultrasound photo in question also differs from typical pregnancy confirmation photos, our agency has requested verification from obstetrics and gynecology medical staff regarding the ultrasound photo sent by A and plans to submit it as evidence.

Furthermore, upon checking with the actor, A has never shown a pregnancy test to the actor, and contrary to A's claims, the actor has never made any statements to A urging her to have an abortion.

On top of that, on July 13, the day A claims she underwent an abortion procedure, A invited the actor to go cycling together, and when the actor declined, she directly sent a video of herself riding a bicycle alone. Our agency has secured and preserved both the conversation and the video.

Pregnancy and abortion are extremely sensitive and serious matters. Nevertheless, A publicly posted entirely false claims on social media alleging that the actor urged her to have an abortion after confirming her pregnancy, causing severe and nearly irreparable damage to the actor's reputation and image once again.

Our agency will no longer respond by repeatedly refuting the other party's false claims.

Based on the materials we have secured up to now, we will immediately proceed with necessary civil and criminal legal actions to ensure that the facts surrounding this case are clearly brought to light.

Finally, we respectfully ask that you refrain from reckless speculation and the indiscriminate reproduction of unverified claims, as such actions can cause further harm not only to the actor but to all individuals involved in the case.
