According to YG Entertainment on the 20th, BIGBANG's new digital single "BiiiG," released at 6 PM the previous day, climbed straight to number one on real-time charts across major domestic music sites including Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe.

In particular, on Melon, the track went straight to number one on the TOP100 chart, breaking the record for the highest number of unique listeners within the first hour of release among songs released in 2026. Achieving the top spot in just one hour on this chart, which calculates rankings by combining 24-hour usage and recent 1-hour usage, is exceptionally rare. In addition, they achieved a so-called "roof hit," which signifies the peak real-time share measurement, nine times, giving a true sense of BIGBANG's immense power.

This carries special significance as it once again confirms BIGBANG's status as ongoing legends who stand unwavering at the very top even upon their 20th anniversary. BIGBANG will kick off their 20th-anniversary world tour "BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR <XX : COSMOS>" at the Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province for three days starting from the 21st. This tour is a grand journey spanning a total of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia.
