[Anchor] Recently, a video showing a bizarre way of stealing shoes became a hot topic on social media. It turns out this didn't happen in South Korea, is that correct?

[Reporter] Yes, a video titled "Why a New Daiso Product Suddenly Became Used" recently spread online.

The video shows a man browsing a shoe display, finding a pair of shoes identical to his own, changing into the new pair, leaving his old worn-out shoes in their place, and walking away.

While the video was quickly shared under the assumption that it took place at a domestic store, it was confirmed to have been filmed on the 9th at a store in China, not in South Korea.

The original video also contained Chinese subtitles that read, "A person tried on shoes in a mart's shoe section and left without paying for them."
