The movie "Revival Man: The Red," starring actor Koo Kyohwan, has confirmed its theatrical release for Wednesday, September 30.
"Revival Man: The Red" tells the story of Seok-hwan (Koo Kyohwan), an unemployed job seeker whose only qualification is groundless self-confidence, who discovers that he has the ability to resurrect 72 hours after death, subsequently finding himself entangled in a mysterious pursuit. The film is drawing significant anticipation as Koo Kyohwan's first solo starring vehicle. He is joined by Shin Seung-ho, Kang Ki-young, and Kim Sia.
The newly released trailer sparks curiosity by showing Seok-hwan, a job seeker attacked by unknown assailants, calmly opening his eyes three days after his death. Accompanied by the tagline "72 hours after death, I came back to life," the footage reveals Seok-hwan growing stronger with each resurrection, heightening intrigue surrounding his unique ability.
Furthermore, the dynamic events that unfold as Seok-hwan begins to be hunted by those who have discovered his resurrection powers further elevate expectations for the film.
"Revival Man: The Red" will be released with a one-week gap from "Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub," which is targeting the Chuseok holiday. Instead of reaping the direct benefits of Chuseok, it plans to target the consecutive National Foundation Day and Hangeul Day holidays.
