A fire broke out at Myongji Hospital in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, and was extinguished with no casualties.

At around 10:40 a.m. today (19th), a fire occurred in the basement of Myongji Hospital located in Hwajeong-dong, Deokyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

Fire authorities deployed around 20 pieces of equipment and about 40 personnel, extinguishing the fire in about an hour.

It was confirmed that there were no injuries from the fire.

An official from the fire department stated that the fire is believed to have started in the underground air-conditioning equipment room.
