People Power Party Floor Leader Jeong Jeom-sik is set to visit Daegu to pay a courtesy call on former President Park Geun-hye.

Floor Leader Jeong is scheduled to meet with former President Park at her private residence in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow (the 19th).

Rep. Yoon Yong-geun, who serves as Jeong's chief of staff, will also accompany him.

The visit was reportedly arranged after Jeong requested the meeting to pay his respects following his election as the party's floor leader last June.

During the meeting, Jeong is expected to express his gratitude to former President Park for actively campaigning in support of People Power Party candidates during the June 3 local elections.

Although former President Park has largely refrained from public activities since her impeachment in 2017, she toured the Yeongnam, Chungcheong, and Gangwon regions during the June 3 local election campaign, delivering messages calling for the consolidation of conservative supporters and backing party candidates wherever she went.
