Police have decided to disclose the identity of a man in his 50s who stalked and murdered his ex-girlfriend in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

The Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency held a deliberation committee on the disclosure of suspect information today (August 18) and announced, "We have decided to disclose the identity of the suspect in the Seongnam Jungwon retaliatory murder case."

The information to be disclosed includes his face, name, and age.

As the suspect has raised an objection, a 5-day grace period will be granted, and his identity will be posted on the website of the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency for one month starting from August 25 until September 24.

The suspect is scheduled to be transferred to the prosecution in custody tomorrow (August 19) on charges of retaliatory murder.
