Musical actor Ivy has successfully completed her Broadway debut performance.
On the 18th (KST), Ivy posted a video capturing a scene from "Chicago" on her social media with the caption "Ivy Broadway." In the video, Ivy moves skillfully across the stage alongside a male actor, delivering a captivating performance.

Prior to this, Ivy posted a photo of her face on a New York Times Square billboard, leaving the message, "Mom, I made it onto a Broadway billboard." The billboard displayed the phrases "SEE IT THIS WEEK! CHICAGO," "IVY IS ROXIE HART," "NOW THRU SEPT 6," and "AMBASSADOR THEATRE," announcing her Broadway debut. Ivy also shared a selfie taken in the dressing room, where makeup equipment bearing her name tag stood out.
Ivy will take the stage as the lead role of Roxie Hart in Broadway's "Chicago" at the Ambassador Theatre in New York for a three-week run until September 6. This marks the first time a Korean actor has played the lead role of Roxie Hart in Broadway's "Chicago." Since 2012, Ivy has performed the same role 592 times in the Korean licensed production, establishing herself as a representative actor for Roxie Hart.
Following her Broadway run, Ivy is scheduled to return to the stage for "Chicago" at the LG Arts Center Seoul starting this December.
