The labor and management of Samsung Electronics Service have concluded this year's wage and collective agreement, reaching an agreement on a wage increase and expanded employee benefits.

According to the website of the Samsung Electronics Service chapter of the Korean Metal Workers' Union today (the 18th), the two sides signed the 2026 wage and collective agreement on the 12th at the Samsung Electronics CS Academy in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.

Under this year's agreement, the two sides reportedly agreed to a 4.1% wage increase, higher congratulatory and condolence funds for childbirth, expanded long-term service leave, and a review of introducing a re-employment system after retirement age.

Starting with their initial meeting on April 22, the labor and management of Samsung Electronics Service held a total of 12 intensive negotiations through July, wrapping up this year's talks relatively early through mutual agreement.

Attendees at the signing ceremony included Kim Young-ho, Vice President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Service; Kim Young-cheon, Senior Managing Director of the Win-Win Cooperation Team; Ko Eun-ha, Vice Chairperson of the Korean Metal Workers' Union; and Kim Ji-hoon, Head of the Samsung Electronics Service union chapter.

Samsung Electronics Service stated, "Now that this year's negotiations have been concluded early, labor and management will work together to further improve customer service."

Amid a surge in demand for home appliance services such as air conditioners driven by record-breaking heatwaves, the labor and management of Samsung Electronics Service plan to join forces to provide stable services and enhance customer satisfaction.
