A shipping container fell from a 25-ton trailer traveling in the direction of Busan on the Gyeongbu Expressway in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, at 9:38 a.m. today (August 18).

While no secondary accidents occurred, the 1st lane was temporarily closed to clear the container, causing traffic congestion in some sections for a time.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident with the trailer driver.
