A passenger car driven by a man in his 80s crashed through a fence and plunged 3 meters down from an apartment parking lot in Saha-gu, Busan, at 9:23 a.m. today (August 18).

The driver sustained major injuries from the accident and was transported to the hospital.

Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, believing that the driver mistook the accelerator for the brake.
