Japanese actor Miyoshi Ayaka, 30, will not attend the production briefing for the film "Tazza: Beelzebub's Song."

Investment and distribution company CJ ENM announced on August 17, "Miyoshi Ayaka is inevitably unable to attend the production briefing due to health reasons."

They added, "We ask for your generous understanding that this decision was made after much deliberation, following medical staff's advice that she currently needs rest. Miyoshi Ayaka will focus on recovering her health and looks forward to greeting everyone through other schedules."

Japanese rising star Miyoshi Ayaka is making her Korean film debut as Kaneko, the head of a Japanese corporation backed by a yakuza organization. She had planned to meet the domestic press for the first time through the pre-release production briefing, but notified her absence just a day before the event due to health reasons. However, her attendance at upcoming schedules, such as the press screening and interviews, remains open.

"Tazza: Beelzebub's Song" is a crime film about Jang Tae-young (Byun Yo-han), who thought he had the world in the palm of his hand through an online casino business, and his close friend and namesake Park Tae-young (Noh Jae-won), who took everything away from him, as they cross paths again in a global gambling ring for a final showdown of revenge. The film is set for release on September 23.
