Police have launched an investigation after a gun magazine and bullets were found at a five-star hotel in Jamsil, Seoul.

According to the Seoul Songpa Police Station, the magazine and bullets were discovered at around 3:30 PM today (August 17) in a garbage dump inside a five-star hotel located in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

It was confirmed that one magazine, approximately 3 centimeters wide, and three 9mm bullets were found at the scene.

No firearm was found nearby.

Police are currently investigating whether the bullets are live rounds and the circumstances under which the magazine and bullets were discarded.
