As the damage from the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck western Colombia at 7:34 a.m. local time on the 10th remains substantial, search and rescue operations for the missing are continuing day and night.

While the officially tallied death toll has been announced at 216, with at least 195 people reported missing, local reports have emerged suggesting that unofficial estimates for the missing could approach 4,000.

We captured on video the rescue site where both rescue workers and citizens have joined forces in heart and hand.
