The Ministry of Health and Welfare has issued an administrative notice for a revision to the public notice containing these measures.

Previously, proxy viewing required submitting various documents in person, such as a family relation certificate.

Moving forward, the system is scheduled to change so that multiple public information systems are linked to automatically verify the qualifications of both the patient and the proxy.

Given that dementia patients often visit multiple hospitals or take various medications, it is expected that making it easier for families to check medical information will also help with health management.
