Director Hong Sang-soo has won the Best Director award and the Ecumenical Jury Award for his film "Where Is My Place?" at the 79th Locarno Film Festival held in Switzerland.

Lead actor Kim Min-hee won the award for Best Performance.

Director Hong previously won the Best Director award at the festival in 2013 for "Our Sunhi" and the Golden Leopard, the grand prize for best film, in 2015 for "Right Now, Wrong Then".

Kim Min-hee also won the Best Performance award in 2024 for "By the Stream", directed by Director Hong.

This year's Golden Leopard went to "You Don't Belong Here" by Romanian director Florin Șerban, which depicts the relationship between a teenage son and his single father.
