A collision occurred between an express bus and a passenger car near the Oksan Junction on the Cheongju-bound Gyeongbu Expressway at around 1:00 p.m. today (August 16).

The accident left the driver and a passenger in the car with minor injuries, though their conditions are not life-threatening.

Police believe the passenger car was attempting to change lanes while driving in the second lane when it collided with the express bus traveling in the bus-only lane, and they are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident.
