Striker Lee Young-jun (23, Grasshopper Club Zurich) scored his first goal of the season right in his opening match of the Swiss domestic cup tournament, capping off a resounding victory for his team.

Lee helped Grasshopper crush amateur side Regensdorf 5-0 away from home in the 64th round of the 2026-2027 Swiss Cup held at Sportanlage Wisacher in Regensdorf, Switzerland, on August 16 (KST), scoring the team's fifth goal.

Lee stepped onto the pitch at the start of the second half as a substitute for Samuel Ballet, with his team leading 3-0.

Grasshopper extended their lead to 4-0 in the 18th minute of the second half thanks to Dennis Sahin's multi-goal performance, and Lee put the finishing touch on the scoring spree.

After a shot hit the goalpost in the 29th minute of the second half leaving him to swallow his disappointment, Lee finally shook the net just one minute later in the 30th minute.

He completed the 5-0 sealing goal with a powerful header from a precise cross sent up by his teammate Samuel Marques.

Having secured their advancement to the next round of the cup tournament with an uplifting, massive win, Grasshopper will play a league match against FC Sion at their home ground, Letzigrund Stadium, on the 23rd local time.
