The agencies representing TWICE member Chaeyoung and singer Zion.T have officially denied rumors that the couple has broken up.

In an official statement released on August 14, the agencies for both Zion.T and Chaeyoung stated, "After checking with the artists themselves, the two are still maintaining a good relationship and continuing their romance."

Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that the two had naturally drifted apart and broken up due to their busy schedules. However, agencies from both sides refuted the report, stating they verified the facts directly with the artists.

Both companies also announced a firm response to the spread of false information. They warned, "We plan to continuously monitor the situation to prevent the artists' reputations from being damaged by baseless speculative articles, the spread of false information contrary to the facts, and malicious posts," adding, "We will take strong legal action against sensational reporting and the distribution of unverified facts."

Zion.T and Chaeyoung were first swept up in dating rumors in April 2024, at which point both agencies acknowledged their relationship, stating that the two were seeing each other with positive feelings. Since then, the couple has continued their public romance, overcoming a 10-year age gap.
