It is known as SOXL, an exchange-traded fund that tracks 3 times the daily return of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index in the U.S.

Retail investors trading in the U.S. market, so-called Seohak ants, net purchased 662.85 million dollars, or approximately 936.6 billion won, worth of SOXL on the 12th and 13th.

This volume is 13 times that of Alphabet, which ranked second in net purchases over the same period.

Seohak ants had previously net sold 1.63089 billion dollars worth of SOXL up until the 11th, including dumping 664.39 million dollars in a single day on the 3rd, but shifted their stance as global semiconductor stocks regained strength.

In fact, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, which had dropped to 10,447.49, showed strength by rising to 12,456.00 on the 13th.

The estimated value of SOXL held by Seohak ants stood at 6.55903 billion dollars as of the 12th.

In terms of holdings by Seohak ants, it ranks fourth, following Tesla, NVIDIA, and Alphabet.

This is a sharp rise from 10th place at the end of April.

The fact that the share price of SOXL, which stood at 114.72 dollars at the end of last month, rose by more than 25% as of the 13th also had an impact.

As of the 13th, Seohak ants have net purchased 1.15670 billion dollars in U.S. stocks since the beginning of August.

This marks the third consecutive month of net purchases since turning to a net buyer in the U.S. market last June, although it has not yet reached the scale of July's net purchases.
