At around 11:00 PM yesterday (August 14), a passenger car driving near the Yangji Tunnel on the Yeongdong Expressway in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, crashed into the tunnel wall.

Following the initial accident, a cargo truck briefly stopped, leading to a secondary accident when an express bus trailing behind failed to notice the stopped truck and rear-ended it.

Fortunately, there were no injuries resulting from the accidents.

Police are currently investigating the exact cause of the accidents by questioning the drivers and others involved.
