A power outage occurred in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, at around 6:50 PM today (August 14) after a scaffolding structure came into contact with a high-voltage power line.

The accident cut off power to 251 households, causing inconvenience for residents during the summer season.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) stated that it restored power to some areas at around 7:40 PM today, leaving 147 households still experiencing the outage.

KEPCO expects restoration work to be fully completed around 10:00 PM.
