Park Ji-hyun Scores 3 Points in 9 Minutes as LA Sparks Fall to New York for Third Straight Loss

Park Ji-hyun of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) LA Sparks logged about nine minutes of playing time and scored 3 points, while her team fell deeper into a slump with consecutive losses.

Park played 9 minutes and 32 seconds off the bench in an away regular-season game against the New York Liberty held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

She attempted two 3-pointers, making one to finish with 3 points and an assist.

The LA Sparks were defeated 85-81 by the New York Liberty, extending their losing streak to three games.

Trailing heavily 67-41 through the third quarter, the Sparks mounted a fierce comeback with 40 points in the fourth quarter to create a tight contest, but ultimately failed to pull off the victory.

With a 12-21 record for the season, the LA Sparks sit in 11th place among 15 teams.

The New York Liberty improved to 21-14, holding down sixth place.
