In professional baseball, the LG Twins bounced back from their previous day's loss by defeating the Kiwoom Heroes in a high-scoring slugfest. Austin Dean led the team to victory with his 32nd home run of the season, which served as the game-winner.

LG fell behind 4-2 through the fourth inning as starting pitcher Tolhurst struggled, but the offense exploded in the fifth inning.
With the bases loaded and no outs following two hits and a walk, Park Hae-min struck a two-run single to tie the game.
Then Austin delivered the decisive blow.
He crushed a high, outside fastball from Kiwoom starter Alcantara for a go-ahead, three-run home run.
Hitting his 32nd of the season after a 14-day drought, Austin narrowed the gap with home run leader Kim Do-young to just two.
The red-hot LG offense did not stop there.
In the ensuing opportunity, Oh Ji-hwan hit an RBI single and Park Dong-won added a two-run single, capping an eight-run fifth inning to seize control of the game.
As Kiwoom pursued with a two-run homer by Seo Geon-chang in the sixth, LG sealed the victory in the seventh with three runs, including an RBI single by Austin.
Following a 25-hit slugfest against Kiwoom, LG emerged victorious with a 13-6 score.
Elsewhere, Samsung snapped a four-game losing streak by defeating KIA.
Kang Min-ho led the team to victory with four RBIs, including a three-run homer in his return to the first team and a game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth.
Doosan fended off Hanwha's chase to reclaim fourth place.
Starting pitcher Choi Min-seok pitched brilliantly with two runs allowed over five innings, reaching 10 wins for the first time in his debut career.
Lotte secured a dominant 11-0 shutout against SSG, fueled by a barrage of five home runs, including a multi-home run performance by Go Seung-min. Meanwhile, NC claimed a comeback win over league leaders KT as Kim Joo-won hit a go-ahead solo shot in the eighth inning with the game tied 5-5.
