The musical "Frozen" kicks off its first-ever Korean premiere today (the 13th) at Charlotte Theater.

Based on the animated film of the same name, the production brings the kingdom of Arendelle to the stage through music, lighting, and theatrical staging. Audiences can enjoy original tracks by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, such as "Let It Go" and "Love is an Open Door," along with new numbers written specifically for the musical, including "Monster" and "I Can't Lose You."

The Korean premiere features 47 Korean cast members selected through auditions. Elsa will be played by Jeong Sun-ah, Jung You-ji, and Min Kyoung-a, while Anna will be portrayed by PARK JINJOO, Hong Geum-bi, and Choi Ji-hye. Cha Yoon-hae and Shin Jae-beom will perform as Kristoff, Kim Won-bin and Hwang Gun-ha as Hans, and Jung Won-young, Han Kyu-jung, and Lee Chang-ho as Olaf. Supporting cast members, ensemble members, and swing actors will also join the production.

Opening commemorative events are also underway. Paid ticketholders attending the "Opening Week" performances from August 13 to 16 will receive a special ticket.

A summer-themed "FROZEN in SUMMER" event has also been prepared. Paid ticketholders who attend performances from August 17 to 21 will receive an ice fan as a "Summer Week Gift."

An "IN SUMMER with Olaf" event will run at the venue until September 6. Those who submit what they would like to do with Olaf this summer will be entered into a draw to win handwritten letters from the actors who play Olaf.

The Seoul run will take place at Charlotte Theater, and the Busan performances are scheduled to be held at Dream Theatre in 2027.
