Around 9 a.m. on the 8th, at a valley in Inje-gun, Gangwon Province. In less than 30 seconds, the peaceful valley water rose up to shoulder height.

A child playing in the water even tried to cross the overflowing stream and was swept away in an instant.

Fortunately, all 7 people isolated in the rapid currents were rescued after emergency rescue workers connected a rope across the valley and evacuated them using a boat.
