A fire broke out on the rooftop of a house in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.

At around 1:15 p.m. today (August 13), firefighters were dispatched following a report stating that "a fire has broken out on the rooftop." They mobilized 20 pieces of equipment and about 60 personnel to bring the major fire under control in about 50 minutes.

Five nearby residents evacuated, but fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Fire authorities are currently putting out remaining embers.
