A man has been apprehended by police after attempting to enter the U.S. Embassy in South Korea.

The Jongno Police Station in Seoul announced that it arrested a man in his 60s, identified as A, at around midnight today (August 13) on charges of attempted trespassing.

A is accused of shouting profanities while attempting to enter the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, located in Jongno-gu.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the incident involving A.
