A man in his 30s has been arrested by police after causing a disturbance while completely naked in the hallway of an officetel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The Seoul Suseo Police Station announced today (August 13) that it has booked and is investigating a man identified as A on charges including special property destruction and violations of the Narcotics Control Act.

A is accused of being naked and using a hammer to smash the front doors of other households in the hallway of an officetel in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, where he resided, at 2:50 AM today.

Police rushed to the scene after receiving reports from residents and apprehended him in the act.

A preliminary drug screening test yielded a positive result.

Police plan to request a detailed drug analysis from the National Forensic Service and further investigate the specific circumstances surrounding the crime.
