This afternoon (August 13), the Democratic Party of Korea will hold a general meeting of lawmakers to discuss the government's tax revision proposals and real estate supply plans.
During the meeting, participants are expected to exchange views on issues such as equity in tax burdens for single-home owners who do not reside in their properties if the tax revisions are implemented, and the possibility of worsening rental market shortages due to preferential treatment for actual residents.
Discussions will also cover plans to expand real estate supply to stabilize the housing market.
