Forward Yang Min-hyuk, 20, who joined Tottenham Hotspur but has yet to make a single official first-team appearance, is heading out on another loan spell.

KVC Westerlo of the Belgian Pro League announced today (August 12) that it has signed Yang on a season-long loan from Tottenham.

His squad number is 47.

The club expressed high expectations, stating, "Yang's technically refined playing style, combined with his one-on-one dribbling ability and knack for creating goals and assists, will be a fantastic attacking option for Westerlo."

Tottenham also announced that Yang has joined Westerlo on loan for the 2026-2027 season.

Yang signed with Tottenham during the 2024 season while playing for Gangwon FC in K League 1, and officially joined the London club in January 2025.

Instead of debuting for Tottenham, he was immediately loaned to Queens Park Rangers in the English Championship (second tier), where he spent his first season in Europe.

Ahead of the 2025-2026 season, in August of last year, he was loaned to Championship side Portsmouth, followed by another loan move to Coventry City in January of this year.

Although Coventry won the Championship title and earned promotion to the Premier League last season, Yang finished the campaign having made just 3 league appearances and 1 FA Cup appearance during his loan spell.

After returning to Tottenham to prepare for the new season, Yang featured in pre-season matches but will now continue his career on another loan.

Yang, who made his senior national team debut last year and has earned 2 caps, has been included in the final squad for the men's national team ahead of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games coming up next month.
