A male worker in his 60s, identified only by his surname A, collapsed and died at an apartment construction site in Yangji-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, at around 10:20 a.m. today (August 12).

Worker A suddenly collapsed while working on outdoor formwork duties and was rushed to a hospital, but ultimately passed away.

The Yongin Dongbu Police Station stated that no signs of safety accidents, such as a fall or structural collapse, were found at the scene.

Police plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death.

They also plan to investigate the precise circumstances of the incident by thoroughly reviewing A's movements and work activities.
