Homeplus announced today that 67 of its stores that went into temporary suspension will reopen tomorrow (August 13).

The 67 stores had temporarily opened on August 7 for operational inspections, and after completing inspections and supplementary work by today, they will officially reopen on August 13.

Homeplus is holding promotional events to welcome customers back to its stores.

For My Homeplus members, all cuts of Hanwoo (Korean beef) will be offered at up to a 50% discount for four days starting from the reopening date.

For three days starting August 14, the Dangdang Fried Chicken will be sold at offline stores for half price in the 3,400 won range.

The purchase is limited to one chicken per person, excluding the Seogwipo branch.

Handon Ilpum Pork belly and pork neck will be discounted by 40%, and depending on the period, items such as meat, seafood, fruit, snacks, beverages, deli items, and bakery goods will be offered at up to 50% off or as buy-one-get-one-free (1+1) deals.

The reopening promotional events will run until the end of this month.

Among the 67 reopening stores, 59 stores—excluding the Asiad, Namdaegu, Samcheok, Boryeong, Ochang, Songtan, Gangneung, and Guwol branches—will also resume their online operations starting August 13.
