A fire at a hazardous materials storage warehouse in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, has been completely extinguished after roughly 21 hours. Although a national firefighting mobilization order was issued at one point, no casualties were reported.

Crimson flames soar above the warehouse as thick black smoke blankets the sky.
The exterior walls of the building are charred beyond recognition, and the steel frame has collapsed.
The fire, which broke out around midnight yesterday (August 11) at a hazardous materials storage warehouse in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, was fully put out at around 9:20 p.m. yesterday, 21 hours after it started.
There were no casualties from the fire.
The warehouse is a facility capable of storing up to approximately 3.54 million liters of flammable hazardous materials, such as petroleum products. To prevent the flames from spreading, the fire authorities briefly issued a national firefighting mobilization order, deploying firefighting equipment from other regions as well.
Police and fire authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and the scale of the property damage.

A truck lies on its side after crashing into a median barrier, leaving the road littered with debris.
At around 9:30 p.m. yesterday, a box truck crashed into a median barrier and overturned near the Mokgam Interchange on the Third Gyeongin Expressway heading toward Incheon in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province.
The driver, a man in his 50s, sustained injuries to his head and was transported to a hospital.
Police believe the truck collided with a passenger car while changing lanes before hitting the median barrier, and they are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.

Around the same time, at approximately 9:10 p.m. yesterday, a fire broke out on a truck traveling toward Yangpyeong near the Gimcheon Tunnel 3 on the Jungbu Naeryuk Expressway in Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, and was put out about an hour later.
No one was injured in this fire.
Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
